View Full Version : Specs on Airtronics 94258 and 94257

First off i would like to say hi to all of you who know me

Now here is my problem, i am selling my servos (the 94258 and 257) on ebay (wont give the link cause i dont think were allowed) and i tried to tell the people the correct specs which is 200oz and 125oz, but they dont believe me becuase airtronics changed the specs when they brought out the 3 series. Obviously they did this in an effort to sell more of the new servos, and i even email them about it and they straight out lied to me.

Does anyone know of a site or something that still has the correct specs on it and can some people that had the servos or remeber the real specs back me up on this. I know all the vetrans (most of which used the servos at one point or another) know the real specs so can u guys help me out here.

I haven't heard of a 94258 servo and 94257 servo, but the Airtronics S94358 (or 94358) has 200 oz. of torque with a .10 transist time. The Airtronics S94357 (or 94357) has 125 oz. of torque with a .07 transist time. :)

Yeah, they are the 3 series. The retaged 2 series.

your numbers *are* incorrect...the 94258 is 145oz/0.09sec and the 94257 is 110oz/0.07sec.

The newly updated 94358 has 200oz/0.10 as you said. But one of the reasons they "rebadged" the 94258 is because they upgraded it for more power.

Stephen, so your saying that the specs that airtronics had for about 2 years were magicly incorrect when them came out with the new servos. I wonder what will happen when they come out with the 94458 and 94457.

But the 94358 is a completely different servo than the 94258, right? It's not just "rebadged" correct?

No they are not exactly the same, but the origional specs are the same for them.

94257 110 in/oz speed 0.06 sec.

94258 145 in/oz speed 0.09 sec.
