They use vinegar in some cleaners, it's just smelly, and dish soap in water or lighter fluid might work better. What are you trying to clean?

I'd use a scouring pad and dish soap.

Another good sub that cuts nitro fuel deposits is 1 part ammonia, a dash of detergent, and 5-6 parts water in a spray bottle.

dont worry about using vinigear just because it smells. just liked achohol it evaporates quickly and the smell goes with it.

I would never reccomend cleaning a car with vinegar simply due to its corrosive properties. It surely can't be good for the car.

I have used Vinegar and salt to clean various Brass and copper objects over the years. Once finished I simply wash them out with warm soapy water.
