I have a memebership to the Tower Hobbies super saver club and was looking at the scratch & dent flyer that i have most recently got in the mail.
I noticed there are several Duratrax evaders in there.

One says:
Duratrax Evader EP ST W/ESC S-B for $55.00
It says the retail price is 199$

Three others say:
Duratrax Evader EP ST W/ESC A1 S-B for $83.00
It says the retail price is 299$

Whats the difference between these? What does the A1 mean? Also i see A2-A6 on other items, whats that mean?

Im guessing the difference is one is RTR, but its weird it doesnt say RTR.
thanks for the help

"S" is slight used but new in some conditions
"B" is slighty damaged and used, but is in working condidtion
the A! A2 A6 refer to the channel radio since these are RTR kits

Oh ok, so the A refers to the channel, so if it doesnt have A then its not RTR.

They say both S and B, so do you think it would be in good condition?

thanks for the help.
Im thinking about getting back into R/C again, i still have my emaxx but i sold the cars made for the track and miss going up to the track.
I thought the Evader would be a good start.

the Scratch and Dent stuff goes fast.

http://www.towerhobbies.com/listings/listdent.html

Most of the stuff on the printed list are already gone, I think it listed a FW-04 4 Stroke? Well I tried to buy that but someone ordered it before me. It's happend serveral times before to me, first come first serve.

All the stuff I've gotten from the scratch and dent has been really good deals well all except a RX Pack but then it was only $10 for a $30 pack so what could I expect.

The list on the website doesnt have as much stuff as in the flyer right?

From what I understand its updated daily.
I guess some days it would have more and other days less.

Actually neither the website or the flyers are complete lists.

You need to call them and have them go over the S&D stuff to find what's out there.

I regularly get stuff for huge deals by calling. Like a V-One-R Kyosho touring car missing a belt and spur gear for only 50 bucks. I also got a Futaba 6VF radio for 35.99 (retail over 200 at the time) because it was missing two servos in the box, and the battery holder.

has anyone ever seen a Associated T3 RTR on S&D? If you have, how much was it and what condition was it in?
thanks for the help.

I think if a good deal for an evader comes up on S&D i will get that. The T3 may be a little better but in S&D you can get the evader for 83$ rtr. you cant beat that.

Most of the stuff I see on the S&D is Kyosho, Hobbico and Duratrax I think it's stuff sent in to Tower's Repair or returned.
