yeah i keep losing these things so i'm wondering where do people get them in like giant bags? of a 1000 or something?

Yeah, if you go to Home Depot, or Lowes, and go to the fastener aisle, you'll see big metal drawers with nuts and bolts in them. In some of the drawers will be 'specialty fasteners', just find the right size ones you need. I am not sure of the technical term for those kind of pins. Hehe, how do I know this? Most of the bolts in my car engine (SBC 400) engine are grade 8 or 5 from lowes :P

do they look the same as the normal body pins, or are they different? I am going to home depot today, so if they have them, i might as well pick them up because i loose about 5 a week.

there called cotter pins but u have to look for the right ones some look like hair pins chicks use which are straight and the others look like body ppins

Cotter pins are different. They are the ones which you would use to hold on a castle nut, you have to bend them into place. Body pins kinda look like cotter pins, but they snap into place. They should look something like this. You might want to take a body post with you to get the right size
