I dumb like sprayed denatured alcohol on my wheels and now there is a film on them and they look white is there anything I can use to get that film off, I don't care if it takes the chrome off because I would like to dye them anyway and also I cant get the tires loose from where they are glued on how do I get the tires to come loose because it is going to tear the tires before I can pull it loose?

You can use Simple Green to strip the chrome off wheels. As for removing them, there already are a ton of threads around on various methods of doing that.

one that sticks in mind is about watching when you boil the tires!

Try wiping the wheels down with WD-40, that should restore some or most of the shine to the wheels.

The best way that I found of removing the tires is to bake the wheel/tire in an oven at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. The tires will come off very easily then. Beware, this method will create a big stink in the kitchen but causes no harm to the oven.
