Please tell me you are joking. Those batteries arnt really matched, they are just the lowest voltage cells they have. They will probably be as flat as a board. But they would be good for practice or something.

Exactly what I was going to say. The whole point of buying matched packs is so you know that your getting good cells and that whole pack is made of crappy cells. For $5 more you can get a promatch pack with 1.150-1.159 average voltage thats much better than 1.135 to 1.149.

it says matched and assembled. and people say they are good i dont care if they are matched because i am just bashing. they are made with GP 3300 and those are good cells

ya i noticed the low voltage on them... and 350 sec. of run time is reasonable but most people push 8 min. with proper gearing and driving with a normal matched cell pack. No wonder they are so cheap.

you'd probably be better off buying virgin cells. Those cells have more than one minute of runtime less than most matched packs. I have seen 3300's of the same quality go for as low as 18$.

Totally agree. That way at least you're not guaranteed to get the lowest grade cells.

Thats why they are on the websites "practice" page.. The company is not trying to market to high level racers... Just people who want a cheap pack...

aren't sport packs the same way? the crappiest cells left over from matching they throw into sport packs?

$27 bucks isn't bad, but they are really bottom of the barrel cells. Surge Battery Matching (http://www.surgebatterymatching.com) had a special last month $33 bucks on Stage0 packs which are 1.150-1.159, with runtime usually over 415 seconds. Looks like that sale is over now though. :(

Let us know how the packs work out for you.. even with those numbers being so low, they should still be fine for practicing and backyard bashing. What is the internal resistance on the cells somewhere between 3.2-3.4?

Those packs are a good price, and look to be built very well! To bad it cost as much to ship the pack to me here in Hawaii! So that $27 pack would cost me almost $50!

Here are other deals I've found

Pro-Match, Excellent stuff, I've got some 3000HV's from them, their lowest 3300's are on sale, $35 w/ Deans 3.0 bars (GP331506)
http://www.promatchracing.com/main.htm

Fukuyama Cells from Speedtech R/C, Never run their stuff but the voltage is good. $30 (FUKU150)
http://64.70.208.72/speedtechrc/28.html

Peak Performance matched Sanyo 3000HV's and Sanyo 2400's on closeout at Stormer. Great packs for the money. I've got 2 pairs of the 3000's and another 3 pairs of the 2400's.

20 for Club Spec, both cells (PEK49063) (PEK44063)
25 for National Spec, both cells (PEK49062) (PEK44062)
30 for World Spec, Sanyo 2400's only. (PEK49061)
http://www.stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/searchpn.pl?stype=class&pn=X&man=Closeouts

I'd reccomend the 3300's if you can afford them, but if not, the other cells are high quality as well. Just not as good, at least not in popular opinion. For bashing, or even racing every once in a while, they'll be great. Gotta scroll down for those,

Just keep in mind that Fukuyama charges a 6Amps while promatch charges at 5Amps so Fukuyama packs of same voltage as promatch packs appear to have higher voltage when they really dont.

Also, why not order direct from Fukuyama?
