is there a way to change a DC charger to work AC so i could use my houses electricity this is the charger http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCTZ5&P=7

all you need is a 12volt power supply. get one with a amp rating (maybe a little higher) to match your charge amperage.
if it charges at 3 amps look for a power supply that can handle 5 amps just to be safe. it looks like that is for charging airplane batteries. for r/c car batteries we use at least a 7amp power supply.
go on to ebay. do a search for samlex.
also www.hamradiooutlet.com
cb and ham radio operators use the same type power supply. all the brands have different amperage.

For charging RC car type batteries the amp rates are too low. That charger is used mostly for fuel powered vehicles. You can use a standard 12Volt motorcycle battery or gell cell sold by Tower. It's used more for charging Glo batteries and receiver packs.
