I will be in Danbury CT on business next week. Are there any RC related sites I MUST see? Any good tracks or hobby stores? What else is there to do there?

Thank you.

this is SteveP's stomping grounds so hopefully he can help out.

I do know there is one place with an outdoor offroad track about 6-10 miles from the Danbury mall but for the life of me I can't remember the name but i could describe where it is.

If you're standing out the back of the Danbury mall you'll see a freeway running parallel to the mall. from your position out the back of the mall if you were to get on that freeway heading left (sry no cardinal directions :p ) the freeway will end in about 5 miles or so. when it ends it will T junction into a road. at this junction you want to make a right turn. the hobby shop is up this road 2-4 miles on the right hand side of the road.

hopefully steve will be able to provide the name and i apologise for the sloppyness of my info but it's been a few years since i've been up that way but since no one had responded i thought i'd post.

best of luck and hope you have fun in your journeys.

Thank you all very much for the responses. At least now I don't have to stay in the hotel room and hope hockey is on.

btw - while you're in danbury, you'll be about 6-8 miles from the RCCA offices where all the magic happens. ;)
