Hi, I've been into the off-road scene for awhile, and with some recent posts fell in love with drifting rc cars....what do you recommend for a chassis? or car? I would like to buy a kit and build it out from that.

Thanks in Advance,

You can check out the new Yokomo drift cars. I'd recommend an electric as nitro is a bit harder. It's not impossible as some may say, but it's a bit more difficult and more expensive (clutch shoes wear a bit faster and con-rods will go faster too due to the extra stress).

Hope this helps

Thanks! Looks really cool, but I am no where close to that price range so, I might just go to ebay and buy a TL-01.

That would be just fine!
I would actually suggest it because it is cheap, simple, and durable.
I myself run a TC3, but if I had to get a drift only car it would be a TL-01.

Were are all the drifters that could help you out. Any 4WD car with drift. Belt or shart. Any one type. And any good 27t motor. (For the torque.) Check out if you didn't know www.rcdrift.com And check out the forum. All your answer will be there.

TL-01's, TB-01's are all great cars to drift with from what I've heard. You could get a Pro3 or a TRF, but they are beyone your price range apparently.
