I just ordered some parts for my Duratrax Evader ST, and I decided to upgrade to an aluminum front hinge pin mount. I found a blue one and a purple one. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but on Tower Hobbies, the purple version is two bucks cheaper! Either it was an accident or they know what we know.

dude, if its clear.. then there is nothing there :p

that doesnt make it go faster..

well.. if a ricer used clear or all thoes pounds of decals.. and usless crap.. maybe it would go faster .. :p

im pretty sure they have clear anodizing,,ive seen it somewhere but dont remember where i saw it :confused:

Yes, there is clear anodising. "Silver" aluminum RC parts are clear anodised to keep them from becoming oxidised (that dull, white, powdery kinda junk).

that would be cool if rc companys started power coating their stuff.. i would love to see white..
