Hi I was just wondering if anyone knew of any tracks in southern california that races 1/18th scale R/C cars.

I wanna get back into R/C and I'm still gonna race 1/10th but I like the idea of having a 1/18th scale R/C but want to race it not just screw around.

you may want to try calling the hobby shops around you and see who does it and what are the classes.

So far the X-Ray is the better touring micro compared to the HPI RS4 micro stock to stock.

I personally ran a BRP SC18, very fast and easy to work on, and it doesn't break. Its all cheap too and will handle better than the X-Ray or HPI on groomed or carpet track.

I'm not sure if they still race 1/18 at "Socal" (Fountain Valley). They used to race them on certain Saturday nights. Sorry, I can't remember which ones. There's also a track in Rialto. I've never been there only heard of it. Sorry I don't have detailed info. Hope this helps.
