What kind of lubricated oil on ball bearings? Can use shock oil or light machine oil on the ball bearing? Thanks

wd-40 or some very light grease. Or goto a skate shop and get bearing grease.

Most racers use some type of lightweight oil, such as that designed for sewing machines. If you're racing, I would stay away from conventional bearing grease - it's much heavier and likely to slow you down slightly.

steve, what do u mean sewing machines??????????

I usually use the 'ol cooking oil for my bearings. It works well and it's cheap too! Like two litters for 5 bucks or something. Trust me, it works.

u mean like vegtable oil? btw when i used to skate we would soke bearings in paint thinner and they spun for ever!

Yes, vegetable oil works, too. I usually use Olive oil cuz it spices up the car. Get it? I'm sooooo funny. Lol. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

pa racer - sewing machine oil. it's made for lubricating sewing machines. It's typically light viscosity, which allows the bearings to spin very freely. You can also use modified motor bearing oil.

PA - you can usually find it in the local hardware store, or at the grocery store.
