Could you guys give me some opinions on the best set of street tires and wheels for a Losi xxxt stadium truck? What is the correct size to buy for the front and rear? I would just need these tires for messing around in the street so I don't want to pay too much. Please include Brand names, part #'s and where to buy if possible.

any 2.2 inch truck tire will work... these wood probably do really good...

Pro-Line Strikers worked well, and lasted a pretty long time. I think the similar Duratrax tires are slightly softer, but work just as well on the dirt/clay ovals at my LHS.

HPI's RS4 MT tires are supposed to be molded in a hard compound, so they should last a long time as well.

For wheels, anything will work, as long as it fits.

for street tires, I would get the Proline Road Rage. The tread on them lasts pretty long and works well indoors on carpet. The Road Hawgs are not bad either, but one abrashive surfaces they wear more. if you want a true alterrain feel, go with dirt hawgs. Good tires.

Road rage/road hawg are horrible on cement roads. At 1/2 throttle using an AE .15, my GT will just spin into a donut using these piles of junk.

I like the road rage tires for my tmaxx... i think they have the same in the 2.2 size.

I have the dirt hawgs for my xxxnt, and they are sweet. Really great in the grass and the street.

I have Proline Speed Hawgs tires that came stock on my Associated nitro ds. The rears are 1.65x1.40 and the fronts are 1.65x1.22 and these were very durable and gave great traction. Does anyone know if proline makes these and in 2.2 size?

I have used some Pro-Line Dirt Works tire on a tower st-15 i used to have and it could pull wheelies going from gravel to street. I think they might be a little bigger than the dirt hawgs but they do look wider. These tires also work great in dirt too.

I've been hearing good things about the gladiator 2's.
I just got a lot of free tires so I won't be buying any for while.
My Dirtworks hook up nicely, but wear even better whereas other tires hookup real well but don't last too long.

Road Rages dont hook up at all, i really like dirt hawgs for traction and wear.

The speed Hawgs C.J.O.O referd to earlier as wicked street treads. The last a long time and hook up super well. How well you ask? Good enough that i could put them on the back of my schumacher desert storm(.21 in a stadium) and take off full throttle with no wheels spin and simple flip the truck right over violently.
