Looks very nice...the onroad has a very nice stance. With all the allumnum and upgrades on it it doesnt look much like an evader! Good Job

Doesn't the stock nitro Evader come with a .18 engine? How much better is the Wasp one?

Looks good, only thing I would get is someone to do me a really trick body to go with the trick vehicle.

Yeah, it's a DTX .18 made in a OS manufacturing facility using Duratrax parts... or so I've heard. I don't really know for sure. One thing I do know is that the Wasp is a much better motor. I had many problems with the DTX .18 every time I ran it. I think I ruined it during break-in because I did not oil up the air filter. That night I found fine dirt/dust in the air filter neck. I did not know to oil it since this is my first Nitro RC vehicle (got it for Xmas 8 months ago). They advertise this thing for beginners and claim it is "ready to run", but they do not include oil for the air filter, tell you it is necessary in the video that comes with the truck, nor is it written anywhere in the manual. Anyway, I got this Wasp for my birthday and it is so much better than the Duratrax 18. I'm still breaking it in, but already it is much more powerful and faster than the previous one. It also starts up the first time, nearly every time (I use a Sullivan Hi-Tork hand starter, much better than any pull-start).

Looks good, only thing I would get is someone to do me a really trick body to go with the trick vehicle.
Thanks. Yeah, I have to work on that. That body is actually the one I got at the same time as the truck and I hardly spent any time painting the thing. It really looks like crap close up. Also, where I cut the body it's rough as hell. I need to find a body other than the Evader that will fit this truck. Dunno exactly what will, cause of the odd body mounts meant only for the Evader body.

All of the aluminum looks nice. But, you said that there is nothing in the manual about oiling the air filter and that is incorrect. Refer to page 9 under the INSTALL & OIL AIR FILTER section.
" Thoroughly soak the air filter element with the include air filter oil. Work the air filter oil into the entire air filter element, then using a clean, dry towel squeeze the excess air filter oil out o the air filter element."
Yes, it does come with a small tube of air filter oil.
