Everytime I try to attach a pic to my threads it says its to big, how do I change the size of my pic on my computer?

Open up your pic in windows imaging, under the page tab, click on properties, then click on size tab. Readjust your size a bit, and save as a new file. Check the size of the file using windows explorer to make sure you're under the mark, but not too far under. Resize if necessary.

If you have paint, open it up, and then click Image>Stretch/Skew

Then in the stretch section, select about 50 percent or so. It makes them smaller in actual pixel size and file size. Just keep doing this until it's small enough

However, we all know photoshop is a little better, and there's about a ozen ways to make a picture smaller :D

File>Save as JPEG, bring down quality level

Image>Image Size, shrink down from there

Here's a photoshop pic, shrinked from 2048x1536 to 640x480, and JPEG quality dropped from 8 to 1 (scale of 12, so the quality kind of sucks...), all done in less than a minute

There's program thats called "Easy Thumbnails" it's VERY good if you have a few pics you want to make smaller...it can be found at www.downloads.com
