I have one of those - runs great and easy to work on. It's pretty much a Kyosho-fied B3.

Parts avaliability. It is a good car and has won some races but like others have said it is really close to a B3 and harder to find parts for. :( I would drive one but do not want to be stuck somewhere without being able to find parts for my car when it breaks or the tranny goes.

i tried racing a Type R for a while.... they were ok... but just a tad off the pace... and they had a weird (unstable feeling) going into corners that no amount of turning would fix...

peace out... :)

I have a Type R too. I think it works fine. The only bad thing is parts availability. You can find everything at Tower but not much if anything at the local hobby shop.

Why do people bring up these old threads?

Why not? New people join the boards everyday and the old threads contain helpful information.

Burnout, stop being such a dork. That's a freakin' archive site, which by definition, stores old information or documents. That's a screen grab of our site from TWO YEARS AGO. I would politely suggest you not post this again. If you're trying to be funny, you're not. It's getting old.

Wheelnut, you're digging up threads that are two years old then asking if it's old?!
