Who holds the record right now? I think it's an electric car. What's the speed, setup, car and where was it done?

I'm not sure about the speed record. I think there are some electric dragsters that are in the 100mph range.

hey I am working breaking the 60mph mark with RS4 MT so far i got it doing around 50 off of 6 cell 1500 by tower hobbies and the truck was stock right of the box sounds cool
man it is when I am on dinner break with my night crew at work place

and neigbor look shock they never seen a RC car with computerized remote and do what the
consider uncomprehentional close to 50 mph speed

I love my new Truck I plan to take it to the extreme http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Warning this RS4MT can evade high speed persuits at 60mph 5 minute run hehehe you cant catch me

Dood, do you want to recreate this car or something? If you do, a couple a monthes ago RCCA had an article on how to make a TA03 go i think 89 mph. It even tells how to make one or even a sport version, if you want to make one thats a good start.

a TAO3 go 89mph?!?! Where can I find this article????

anyways, I was just curious as to what the record was and how they did it. and what tripped me out was that it was an electric going 100+ mph!

Well the TA03 was kinda a cheat if you well, but the TA03 was kitbashed from a front and rear set so the TA03 had two motors and two batteries. But still it was 89 mph, which is sweet.

One of the dragsters toped 118mph in the scale quarter, and I remember an article a few years ago where an electric pan car did over 105mph. A friend of mine recently said 175mph but I dont believe him.

sup Kamakzi i find that kinda hard to swallow. a RS4 MT that goes over 50? its not even a touring car and it only runs on a 1500 battery with a box stock motor? thats just as fast if not faster then my TC3 with a SpeedGem 12 turn modified motor with CVD's, telfon sealed bearing and a 3000 MaH panasonic battery. i'd like to know how did you manage to do that with a truck? i'm not insulting i'm just curious http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif i'm puting as much smily faces as i can so i don't offend people http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
