Kissena park has a huge concret Oval I like start some races there but have no experience
and I dont know where to begin
I seen the track and i was like wow I got that spark back again and baught RS4MT few weeks later I m almost felt like I was in heaven http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

man it is banked ovel I never seen a bank oval track till I crossed when I moved out

I think that's the one I keep seeing from the airplane when I fly in and out of LaGuardia airport. Every time I fly over, I look for landmarks so I could eventually find the track. You've saved me about ten more flights! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Yup thats it alright I see airplane fly over here all the time

just hope on the highway **** to like going toward Queens college het off at Kissena make left and drive untill you see the park a park make another Right
there is a parking lot in the park so dont drive to quick You might miss it aww dang

The Kissena Park Velodrome (the scientific name for "huge concrete bike track") is nothing new. When I got my first RC10 me and a bunch of others would race there. Mostly fooling around, nothing serious. That was in 1988! I don't think you could have serious races there, the NY winters have taken their toll on the track, making it somewhat bumpy.
