I had a lot of benefits with it. The 7 cell pack has more voltage which equals to more speed. Run time depends on the mah of the pack that you buy. Be careful on using the 7 cell hump pack since I melted my tamiya bullet connectors on my ESC since it was getting too hot!!! Replace all of your connectors with DEANS* plugs. Good Luck!

which company makes 7 cell stick packs, preferably the hump packs? the only company i've seen, so far, making these is Duratrax.

Duratrax makes excellent hump packs. I use mine for my electric stampede, it made my truck fflllyyyy!!! I think that Trinity makes hump packs too. Check with your LHS or the Tower Hobbies Catalog. Good Luck!

Dynamite makes some nice packs too. I bought a few and the 7 cells are pretty nice. Beleive me. There is a deffinent advantage to a 7 cell over a 6 in most cases.
