Steve, doesn't it get just a tad annoying that you say that basically once a week? Thanks for the awesome forum. With 5000+ members here, responses come really fast. I love it.

Polo - I never get tired of hearing that. It's when I stop hearing it that I know there's a problem. I know some people give me and the other admins grief because we don't allow registration with free email and some of the rules are a little more restrictive than other boards, but I think the result is a higher quality membership, which results in better information and MUCH less useless clutter.

Hmm, how about allowing us to add a "secondary" email address? I registered with my school account and since it's summer, it's disabled! I'm in a deal with someone and that might cause some problems. Just a suggestion :)

Gutter, you can change your email address, as long as it's not a free email account. Just go to the "my profile" link at the top of the page and change it. It has to be a valid email, because a new temporary password is automatically issued and sent to the new email address entered.

Steve did you change it so we can't change our publicly displayed name? Because I know you could for a while.

Mista H

Mr. H - unfortunately no. Changing user names was being abused by members mostly in the For Sale forums - talking up their own stuff or offering to buy their own stuff to bump up the asking price. Amazing how maturity and honesty can be such a challenge some times...
