Hi!

First off, I really like the new web page and the boards!!! One question though, then I will get back to the topic, I promise! Okay, How about putting up different disscusion boards? Like a traxxas stampede, t-maxx, clodbuster and juggernaut 2(be great for kevinh http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif ), racing questions for xxx's, xxxt's, and b3 t3 and the list goes on and on!!!

Okay, now that is out of my system I can do other things, now! On to the question about making rubber tires, and I hope this topic gets the tire company's thinking, cuz I know this could make'em rich!! You see in the Febuary '99 issue of the worlds greatest magazine, RCCA! someone sent in a pic of their rc drag racer, the green beetle to be exact...The title was "mean green machine" Anyway in their he said he made the rubber drag tires for the car. How could I do this?? I know he did just shave the tread off of a truck tire, so how did he do??? I am going crazy over this, so don't wait to long on this question!!!! AHHHH! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif: http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

thanks, rcguy

RCGuy - I don't know how that guy "made" his tires, but it's not a simple process. I'm guessing he modified another tire to fit his application. Making a tire from scratch is a pretty expensive proposition.
As far as adding new forums, we are waiting to see which topics develop into the most popular ones before we create new ones. It's easier to check the general forum than to sift through forums with only 20 posts. I promise to add more threads however, as soon as the increased traffic demands it.

Hi steve!

Thanks for the reply! I guess what I'm going to have to do is do some research on some different tires, now!

I think if you advertise in a RCCA issue that you have disscusion boards on your website as well as schedualed chat with the editors, then I bet you are going to have quite alot of people dropping everything and getting on the computer and coming here!!! Then you will need some more topics!!

Thanks for answering my questions, as always!
