No, a reciever pack powers to servos. One controls the steering and the other control how much the carb opens.(Guessing, I only have electric). When the reciever pack runs out of juice and you don't have a return spring, say good bye to your car. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/frown.gif

I pretend I didnt here taht question
what are ESCs For

I tell you
ESC power electric motors by no means it to power gas motor cause gas motor aint electrically driven except the glow plug part which is not even controlled by a ESC

how ever all you need for gas vehicle is 2 servos, reciever and a transmitter

the answer palin and simple U dont not need a ESC in gas car

Warning this RS4MT can evade high speed persuits at 60mph 5 minute run hehehe you cant catch me

waaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzuuuup, kamakazi your kinda condescending when it comes to newbies huh?!. look you need to lighten-up. besides I can't nessecarily take you seriously when you use all kinds of double negatives(to wrongs DO make a right in grammar). not only that but you leave out many nessecary pronouns, adjectives and subjects leaving your sentences in shambles and lacking coherency to your thoughts. in other words "boy, you better git back up in that skool and git yo' edumication".
and yes, I realize my grammar in my postings leaves something to be desired but at least I try to bring coherency to my thoughts.

There's no such thing as a stupid question on this board. Those of us that are more experienced asked many of the same questions when we were learning about R/C (yes you did, admit it!), so please be more considerate when answering questions from those with less experience. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hey steve P, please let us have a laugh at these newjacks. yes I was once one also 14 years ago and I DO remember being laughed at too. It was motivating for me to get my first subscription to RCCA and learn so much.
now I know too much and quite frankly I laughalot at people like this ESC question.

You can laugh all you want, I just don't like people calling them an idiot for asking many of the same questions we asked many years ago. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
