hey i wanted 1 but i couldnt find a place that sold just the tranny . you could try and find a used clod and buy the upgraded kit ( i suggest jps pro chassis their site is www . jpspro . com ) good luck , Nick :>)

well i ' m pretty sure u can buy just the tranny from tamiya replacement but it would probably come on a tree w / a bunch of other parts . and also there is no one around me selling a clod or that has a clod for that matter .

as far as i know ... they don ' t make the clod buster anymore ..... ( after all , it was designed over 11 years ago ....)

the Tamiya Juggernaut 2 was the replacement for the clod buster ..... so you might wanna look into one of those .... ( around 340 bucks from tower hobbies )

yea , it ' s popular enough to be in production for 11 years . my LHS sells it . i think it ' s cheaper than jug otherwise i ' d get jug , but u have to paint the body different than i ' m used to so forget that .

yup , my bad .... tower does have it .... for 209 bucks ... ( the clod buster that is )

i gotta say though .... i got to see some t - maxxs go at it this weekend .... and those things just plain ROCK ...... so if you have the extra cash ... go for one of those ... their suspension is incredible right out of the box ......

they do still make the clod and i belive it is better than the jug2. you might want to wait to see the new elec. version of the t-maxx should be a great truck but if your heart is set on a clod you do need to buy the clod kit along with whichever chassis kit you buy for it there are too many stock parts that you need to use to buy them seperate. it would actually cost more to do it that way.

Also on the ESC use a tekin titan or novak super rooster that way if you want to use a couple of hot mod motors they can handle it with noprob.

Warhawk, you shoulda seen it when Jeepinator brought back the thread about most helpful members. It was dated for like March or something.
