Ladies And Gentlemen! Welcome to the DirtBox 500!

lol, the planter box derby :P i think with a track that small, you wont need the black drain hose... just use normal garden hose lol. it will be more "scale" :)

That's really small and unless your a really good driver it will be a while until you can turn out some fast laps. You see 1/18 scale cars are run mostly on 1/10 sized tracks. This means acceleration and speed mimick those of stock motor 1/10 trucks. Although the handling is more nimble. So you will be going into the mini field to turn your car around a lot. But after a week or so of racing you should be pretty good at turning fast laps. Good luck on construction though!!

yeah i will be going kinda fast i have mamba 6800 in my mini t pro lol

you should gear it WAY low, so it goes alot slower but will have TONS of power. that would be better. so you could actually make some really interesting obstacles and stuff, but still go fast enough to be in control on the track :)

You could try some pool vacuum hose for barriers, it's only about 2" in diameter. Run some before you put down the hose, in case you need to tweak the corners or straights.

Can you get some pics of a truck on the track, so we can get an idea of the scale?

i kinda figured the truck was probably about the same size as the end of the shovel, thats what i used for a scale refrence...

08-22-2005, 09:17 AM

08-22-2005, 11:12 AM
