I know this is weird but I would suggest a nitro kit car, because after you know how to run a nitro vehicle you will be able to drive electrics to. Not bagging on electric I just know from experience as I had the original nitro rs4 in kit form for my first rc car and that helped me learn alot about rc cars.

If I were you I would get a team associated nitro tc3. Its a known racer and a great basher.

You would want a starter kit like this one.

You should also get a set of hex drivers.

You will also need after run oil.

Thats about it as far as I know. Get some other suggestions as there are people on here with far more expereince with rc cars than me.

Thats up to you. Nitro is cheaper in the beginning compared to electric cars. If you go electric, you will spend alot of money up front, but then you'd be good. You would need batteries, chargers, etc. If you go with a RTR nitro car, you'll have everything you need to get started, but then you always will need to buy things, like gas, glow plugs, etc. You can start with either of them.

Good point.

You don't need a new thread for every single question you have. Ask all of them in one thread.

No problemo. NotWalkingBlind's suggestion is pretty good. Pick up some fuel, batts and plugs and your set.

Have fun!
