Could this be a re-release of the Bruiser/Mountaineer ?? Or just the original Hilux body on the newer hi-lift chassis?

Yah!

AFAIK, it's a hilux on a hi-lift chassis. the best of both worlds, in my opinion!

I saw some pictures posted in other RC forums. I thought it was a mountaineer body on a Hi-Lift.

I wish they do something with the wheel and tire combo, I guess they are going for the scale look.

Just imagine the reaction of the people who are buying the limited release of that body last month who paid more than $200 (now $420 "buy it now" on ebay). Now you can buy it as a whole kit.

. I can't believe it. The body looks identical to my Mountineer! Now I can add this next to my mounty and F350.

My question is where is the interior  Wait I hope this doesn't depreciate the old truck.

Personally I still think the orginal look much better with metal diff houseing and the scale look.

this is in the first paragraph...

Combining nostalgic feel with modern mechanics, the superbly detailed classic Toyota pick-up truck body is now mounted on the same chassis as the Ford F-350 High-Lift.

did I miss something?..

"Image shows prototype." Let's hope they tweak it a bit before it is released. That thing is ugly as sin!

Wow, just in time for Christmas. Now I can justify my soon to be purchase, lol.
