HI - I've got an idea for a product that every 1/8 buggy user can use. It's a plastic piece and I'm looking for information/advice on how to go about getting something manufactured and mass-produced. Can you provide any information on where I can go to get something like this done? Thanks!

First of all have it designed in CAD so it can be easily sent out to be produced.
For the manufacturing part find a local CNC shop to have them make you a Prototype of the CAD part to make sure it performs as planned.
If it does perform as planned you could have a Mold designed and have them injection molded if it turns out to be profitable.
Molds cost a pretty penny so CNC may be your way to go.
Is the part a 2D or 3D part?
I suggest Unigraphics NX or Catia V5(also known as Delmia V5) for CAD software.
Thanks, James
BTW if you have any more questions just give me a PM
