Here is a full function Dub City R/C Mustang fully customized into the Transformer "Barricade"!
It features a prep'd and primered body that was masked and airbrushed twice, ALL of the proper decals which were custom made, a hand painted lightbar, hand painted wheels that match the real car used in the movie, a custom fit pushbar secured with J.B. Weld on the inside of the bumper and a total of 14 flashing LEDs that come on with the main power.

Here is the light setup:
2 white flashing in the heads
2 blue flashing in the pushbar
2 red and 2 blue on the roof
4 red and 2 red/blue in the tails
The car is 1/25 scale, runs on a 49mhz frequency!

I bought it off ebay. Can it be modified to go faster? :teacher:

Your best bet would be to pull the body and mount it to a real R/C chassis..... it will not handle very well though. You get a ton of body roll... Use the stiffest sway bars you can get...

I think the cup racer would be a good chassie. To do so....
Also.... not to bust your chops... I've seen that exact model at target.. for 29.99.
I think you have been ripped off.

They have something similar looking @ Target, but the beauty of this piece is that it is R/C. The one at Target is a deluxe transformable one, but without the 14 custom flashing LEDs & is not an R/C. There is no non custom Dub City Barricade R/C with 14 flashing LEDs.

yup, 30percent is correct, I don't know what the scale is offhand, but to have a good fast RC, you'd be better off removing the body and putting it on a hobby grade chassis. You could then buy aftermarket wheels as well - maybe even something closer to the actual Barricade wheels. (I don't think they were 5 star wheels in the movie)

Cool looking car though, did a very nice job on the body.

um... x mods made one that was rc, and had leds, you could add more to make everything flash if you wanted

I think the Cup Racer chassis would be a little too big for this body, since this is a 1/25 scaler. Maybe a modified X-Mod or Mini-Z?

Ya, but xmods were smaller, this is about 1/25, & they're paint job & lighting sux! This is the only RC I've ever seen w/ 14 flashing LEDs & ready to run right out of the box! So well put together & light timing just right, w/ only one power switch to worry about. The paint job is also quite nice & durable.
