Imagine! Lets get this thread going.

On all low speed rock crawling, that electric motor kicks in, and when you jam on the throttle you still get that amazing Nitro roar.

Totally not practical, but fun to think about :D

how about a nitro engine running a generator to power the electric motor...

Some may say, why waste gas running a nitro engine to power a electric?

How about a rc that can charge your cell phone the more you drive it.

Guys, what is funny is that with all of these ideas they will actually happen at some point. Whenever you have an idea and at the rate that technology improves it usually happens within 10 years.

Why not????? You can start with a Sullivan Products Genisys on board power system to charge the battery. Problem would be keeping the bettery charged versus the current draw from the motor.
