My grandson received a Toyota FJ Cruiser model #6600AS, without the battery and charger.

Any help in finding a source for these is appreciated.

Thanks

The real question is what battery chemistry.

For first charger, my recommendation is the same for everyone. Turnigy AC6.

It's a 50 watt/5 amp charger that will do any chemistry, doesn't require a power supply, and I think it costs about 50 bucks.

The next question is what battery? Do some homework, LIPO is the only way to go.... well LIFE comes in a close second. But you gotta know whats up, take them seriously.

Nickel batts are more forgiving for newbies.... but shoot, the lack of performance compared to lipo makes it hard to justify for me.
