Hi,

I just got my First car a 1972 nova and I would like to get an r/c car that has the same body on it and get big tires for the back and smaller ones for the front. ya know so that it is sort of like its "minnie me" I don't want to get a micro or anything really small. preferably 1/10 scale. I can't really spend to much on the car cause all my cash is going towards parts for the real nova so i guess 200-300 including everything. Since the low price i woulld have to go electric which is no big deal for me. O and i would like to get somtin that i would be able to upgrade with better parts and such. So if you know of any kits where i could find a 72 nova body for my price range it would be greatly apreciated

thanks,
Ben

Is this kinda what your looking for? It's made by Bolink.

Well you could get that body and this chassis kit. It's good enough for a show car and its cheap too.
More info on it here:http://www.bolink.com/kits2.html#touring

They don't come with any electronics so you have to use a electronic speed control. About the only upgrades you can do is ball bearings, different spur and different rims/tires. The chassis that comes with works just fine, its a very simple design.
These kits are under $70.00 for the rolling chassis. You add the electronics of your choice. I own a Bolink car and they can be made to go very fast with a hot mod motor but their light weight makes them a little tricky to get used to at high speeds. Here's another chassis kit I found at Tower, its $63.00.

If you need help finding some electronics for it let me know.

The super sport is a much more popular car and I think the Chevy Nova is a real difficult body to find in the first place. Sorry...but hey the SS is pretty close right? hehehe

yeah the SS is pretty much the same i just wanted to see if there were any other nova bodies out there cause the one above looks too much like an old stock car
