This is from today. Hmmm, something is fishy

    EZM,
If its true or not, I dont think its such a good idea to publisize someones death on a public forum. Especailly if he or she is not related to you.
If he has passed (may he rest in peace), I think he would want people to see his work. He has put a lot of time and effort into this build. Why let it die?

    Oh, eh - wow!

I gotta say I was surprised to see the old thread still getting replies after all these years!

Yes, I do indeed owe ya'll an update or ten, I guess.

Lets try the short version: Just around the time I was finally getting the truck running (as in "on the stand") I stumbled into a new job which tore me away from most of my RC activities. So for the last couple of years, the poor thing has been locked up in a closet, without even being run (on the ground). In other words, no issues with the truck (that I know of, at least), just life getting the way of it. I have however no intention of letting it just die (at least not before I drive it to death ), so it'll stay on my big ole "to-do" list until I get enough free time to complete it.

Anyways - many-many thanks for all the great feedback and comments, and sorry I've been MIA for such a long time!

    Thor

PS: I am not a ghost BTW

No. I'm sure Thor is a wise man, not associating himself with someone such as yourself. I'm sure he is completely unaware of your juvenile stunt.

    Grow up.

    EZM,
I think you and your "undisclosed source" need to pile into a small car and go on a long trip. That was uncalled for and pretty childish.
I agree with XX, GROW UP.

    Thor,
Lookin forward to seeing this badboy in action. No need to appologize either, without work there would be no play.
We are definately looking forward to some updates and pics

    Hi Thor!
Show your boss this thread and I know he will give you all the paid time off you need to complete the masterpiece. Overtime even.

Being a M.E. myself, I don't agree with some of the ways you did a few things to the truck.

But none-the-less very cool truck, and project.

your 1/8 scale truck looks awsome, but i would like to see how it turns out. i just started getting some parts toghther, so this might take a while but i will be building a 1/5 scale "trophy" truck very similar to yours. i know i do not have your skill with a mill or much access to one but lets see what i can come up with. anyone have any ideas on where to find a body for it?

GREAT job Thor! I personally don't know how you can stand to have all that hard work just sitting there!! Just kidding, I do know how life can get in the way. I have a 3y/o and a 6mo/o that has put my life hold and I can't complain. Life is good.
