Just an idea here but with your machine skills you could make a aluminum case with a fan inside and run the exhast through it and it would have the turbo sound. just have them on really good bearings. it would be cool to have the turbo whine sound like semi trucks have wheen the are coasting or shifting.

Those are 4-strokes. He could actually supercharge it or turbo charge it if he was bored enough. I don't know if it'd benifit much because of the size of the impellers, but it would function at least.

if i may add. i think it is important to get the exhausts away from the shocks because 4-strokes are super hot.

the problem is know one know the the pressue a engine likethis can hole w/o cracking or bending parts and they already have super high compression and have plenty of power

they already make superchargers for RC cars...

I don't know about any for the thumpers...but heres a link for the ones for the screamers.

anywas.. the heat/shock was brought up.

The turbo sounds like the lamest idea since the tiny spinning fans in the mini van exhausts..

if it ain't a real turbo, then toss it.

hey.. where is the man. I havnt seen him post about his awsome truck in ages

The compression ratio will have to be lowered before you can supercharge it, or you will just tear it up with detonation, if it will even stay running.

Let me see the Video of the finished car!

  18.
WE MUST SEE A VIDEO SOON. Truck is so awsome cant wait to see how much ground he can tear up with that thing. I just wish I could be that creative when it comes to machining things. Wait a minute I wish I even knew how to machine stuff. But I really think that truck looks sweet. wonder what type of paint scheme hes gonna use. But anyways get a video out soon.

  19.
i wouldn't even want to drive that thing

You should of seen the "Electric 1/8 buggy" thread. That and the drift threads there there use to be also! HUGE, bigger than this thread also.

now back on topic. He's gone MIA on us again, just wait for about another 4-7 days again, he will be back.

Yeah, I too was going to say "Look up the 2 RC Drift Threads, those deserve a forum". But now there quite a few forums where every thing is just RC Drift related. Aka www.rcdrift.com
