I think the theme here is that we want some classic bodies. I would imagine that licensing an old, out of production car would be far easier than a new, hot off the presses model.

I think I'll write them and ask if I could possibly join their club. Long commute to their local races and events though....

ps. id love the option of hubcaps/whitewalls on a r/c car.

At the risk of repeating requests...
Early VW beetle please, and the 300SL gullwing.

By the way, I want an open wheel Gurney Eagle RC car, was it 1967? Maybe it could fit one of the Tamiya F-1 chassis... sigh.

here is my 2 cents/list of favorite cars

    67' gt 500 mustang(original no elelnor crap)
    89' gt mustang
62' country squire wagon (for the old shool dragsters)
a proper rendition of the new mustang
    68' gto
    72' challenger
    56' ford f-100
    67' and 73' vette stingray
    78' firebird
    05' magnum
    06' charger
    94'-97' lincoln town car
    70' road runner
65' aston martin DB7 (james bond style)
    64' lincoln continental

essentialy anythng musle car or old style trans am. There should even be a class just for that kind of racing.

Also you could make convertables by cutting out the tops and adding a inner body of sorts king of like what hpi did a few years back with the BMW Z3 but better.

    new catagory "scale acsesories"
    rear view mirrors
    lights
    vintage wheels
    better scale wings
    hood scoops
    fender flares
bolt in roll cages for form and,or function
    roll bars
    simulated grill mesh
