  1. Join us for the RC Car Action/HPI Racing Race for a Cure in June!
    #1
We have joined forces with HPI Racing and Pin Shop Hobbies to put on a fun race to raise money for the American Cancer Society. It’s going to be held on Father’s Day weekend 2010 at the Goshen Fairgrounds in Goshen, CT. The format will be a little different from what is used at other races. We will be running short course trucks on Friday, 1/8-scale on Saturday and 1/5-scale on Sunday. See the flyer for more information. We will be posting updates here as we get them. We already have many great sponsors and are looking for more. If you are interested, contact Kevin Hetmanski at kevinh@airage.com

Click here to view the downloadable .pdf file of the entry flyer.

Are you sure this is your kind of racing? These guys try NOT to leave blood and broken parts on the track!

This is going to be great! Can't wait to participate.

    Two Quick questions...

1.) The entry form is just a low-res photo. Is there a printable PDF somewhere so I can print it and fill it out?

2.) Do you have any idea how long the mains will be? (in the 1/8th classes)

    Thanks guys!

A PDF will be available soon and we don't have a set time for the mains yet.

I'm really excited about this race and can't wait for the weekend to get here. I have to start building my Blitz ESE for the short course class. It's going to be a lot of fun.

There's no track at this time. We have to build it at the fairgrounds. It's going to be awesome!

Prizes are starting to roll in and the race will be here before you know it. Have you signed up yet? Start downloading and prepping your rides! We will need a lot of volunteer help to make this race a success. If you guys arenít going to race but can help out in any way, it would be appreciated. If you can only come for an hour, thatís cool. If you can help for the entire weekend, thatís better. If you can help for the entire week, thatís AWESOME. You donít have to be a racer to help out. Iím really looking forward to raising money for a good cause and showing our great hobby off to thousands of people who might not know that it exists.

We'll have lights at the track and will be having open practice after the race each day. This will be good for those of you who can't make it to the track on Thursday.
