I did something kinda similar a long time ago with a Rustler and Stampede; Never thought to actually put a cool body on it though. That looks really good with the Skyline on top! If you can get the chassis braced enough that could be really fun!

Well testing this morning on my drive way I wrecked that I thought I was going to need to scrap the project... ( see video)

I was able to fix it and got a little run in at a parking lot (see video 2) but the tranny unknown to me at time was damaged in the crashes... So know I am back to my original idea... I'm got fix the tranny but instead of a street racer I'm going to raise it up hopefully an inch or so and make a rally style car that I can use at least on any on road surface.

Well I decided to go 2wd rally at this time.... as a street runner i crushed the front end many times.... maybe i'm not a car person they seem like fun but not "ANYWHERE FUN" like trucks and buggies... At this time i'm thinking about making this car about running on paved and unpaved roads, low grass areas, once i get all the right adjustments and equipment I think for rally this car will work really well...

I will try to get some pics up from the video to show some key items and then I will post som pics of rally type set-up.

    still need to find:

A good set of 4.5 to 5.5 inch wheels with the rims at he correct offset, replace axles with upgraded metal ones, a way to reinforce some key areas and some kind of 'Plastic Bondo" to do some bodywork/repairs. maybe i can use some fiberglass mender,,,

Anyway attached are 3 more videos in the project series 1. Is some info about the car and test run on my cement driveway. 2.. more info and a test run on my gravel driveway and 3. some info about why the double chassis versus a single piece of aluminum.
