My first task will be to reinforce the transom @ the sponsons. I'll sand the transom flat then add a layer of CF cloth.

Next is reiforcing the transom at the motor mount. First I cut out the area where the radio box will be installed to get to the transom from the inside.

I took some scrap CF cloth and cut it into very small fibers and packed the fiber in all the voids in the transom from the inside. Then I filled the voids with a good amount of resin.

Next I designed a radio box on CAD and cut the the parts from 3/32 ply then assembled the parts with CA glue. Next I cut 3 clear lids from .093 plexiglass. One goes over the servo, one over the ESC and one for the battery compartment. When I'm at the lake the servo and ESC cover will remain in place. The battery cover will be removed to replace the battery. Then when I'm back at the shop I can remove the other covers for maintenence and to air dry the radio box.
