Well my 1:4 scale GT-R wrecked as I was starting to enjoy it... So I went back to my collectible s store and saw the had the 1:6 scale eclipse, eclipse from the fast and furious, Porsche boxer (and another one), couple corvettes, and a mcclarren... I decided on the Mercedes since it had no broken parts....

So here is my next project car to wreck...lol

Should be an easy conversion since its about 3 inches shorter....

Pics before I gut it it tonight:

Mine does that too... Well it used to anyway. There's a setting for that.

Cool video. Great to see youngsters with interest! Especially the daughter. You might just have an engineer or similar on your hands.

Well here we are after the next set of mods....

Everything is running well its very fast and seems to be holding up well to the abuse...

I have not gone to a big enough area to get top speed but I can tell you with the current 86/25 48-pitch set up its a great combo of takeoff and top speed...

Okay some changes since the last vids I put out...

The suspension has been stiffened, I changed out the shock oil and have placed in my tapered diaphragms so the back compress fast and rebound slow the front are very stiff and set to compress slow and rebound fast.

The shock angles have been increased by moving the lower shock mount closer to the wheels

Replaced stock gears with aluminum and delrin plastic... Short life span but light weight... Metal spur and pinion

MIP CVD from old project ( to short for pede do they pop when suspension is at full droop. HD Traxxas ones on order

Any way, here are today's vids

1-test run vid, 2- just a fail compilation, 3- damage report for this session
