I have a 12+ year old electric Duratrax Evader that has been collecting dust in a garage and I'm trying to revive it. It is a old brushed motor with an old Novak ESC. I've purchased new batteries and a new charger, but I've run into an issue. It runs great for about a minute and a half and then just slows down and stops. I know there is still plenty of charge left in the battery and the engine is not hot, so I'm thinking it might be the ESC. There's not really anything else to replace. Any advice on how I can confirm it's the ESC? I've used multiple battery and engine combinations all with the same result. And I've reset the ESC, but still get the same results. I'm trying not to spend too much money. If it gets too much I'm just going to buy a new car. Any suggestions?
